Coffee PC - Coffeemaking computer

I found this ingenious coffee maker on ByteMods by way of Neatorama.com It was constructed from a custom painted Compaq Deskpro case. He cut out the 5.25″ drives and then installed the heating element by cutting the coffee maker open. What’s cool is that this coffee maker actually brews coffee. It uses a Visual Basic script to enable the COM port on the computer.

Life’s ambitions should result in more than a photo and a handful of diggs by geeks.

  2. Most of the electric coffee makers that are out there are larger units for coffee houses and restaurants. Yet, they are starting to become more popular so that smaller units are hitting the market and becoming more affordable so that people now have the smaller versions in their homes. This helps to get you that perfect cup automatically, by grinding the beans, and brewing them to perfection so that you get gourmet coffee any time you feel like it.
