This coffee maker has been setting the tech blogs on fire over the past few days. It’s a motion activated coffee maker by coffee experts Douwe Egberts and was unveiled at Dutch Design Week. The BeMoved coffee machine was cranked out by Douwe Egberts R&D department to inspire creativity and innovation in coffee maker design. It’s design takes into account the sophistication of modern consumers… and its “iPhone-esque” interface attests to that.
It works with either a motion sensitive camera or a touch screen and includes a shooter game where drinkers have to work for their coffee! It is programmable and displays traffic, weather, and stock information. Other noteworthy coffee innovations from DDW include the “Jet Engine Wake Up Kit” which makes coffee, fries eggs, and toasts bread.
